M. Chloe Mulderig graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College in 2005 with a BA in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies. She then earned an MA with Merit in Near East Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology at Boston University. She focuses on Morocco and the greater Middle East, religious identity, political anthropology of the Islamic world, and gender. Her current fieldwork in Fes focuses on young women's religious identity and how knowledge of Islam is transmitted across generations.
